Our Story

My journey to Bright Body Baby started with Bright Body: a line of nontoxic, refillable hair and skincare handcrafted with modern science & Ayurvedic herbalism.

My three chronic illnesses inspired me to make the switch to nontoxic products, but I couldn't find a brand that met my standards so I set out making it myself. Bright Body launched in October 2017.

I'm A Twin Mom

After 3 years of unexplained infertility, 3 pregnancy losses, 6 IUIs, and 2 rounds of IVF, I got pregnant in August 2021.

Our single embryo transfer split into two, and in April 2022 my husband and I became parents to identical twin boys, Oscar & Nico.

& I Couldn't Find What I Wanted for my kids

While it's getting easier to find nontoxic-ish products for kids, many aren't as strict with their ingredients as I'd like, and almost all of them come in plastic packaging.

So I Made It Myself

So it was a logical next step for Bright Body to start making products for babies and kiddos.

Just like with our parent brand, we handcraft our products using only EWG safest rated ingredients, package in aluminum and glass, and offer a circular refill system.

& Gave It A Bigger Purpose

When SCOTUS overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022, I knew I had to do something to fight back.

As a mom by choice, for choice (who happened to have a life-saving abortion), I decided to harness the power of my small businesses. We are proud to donate 1% of our sales to pro-choice causes.
